What’s Seicho-No-Ie

20131007SNI_International_Peace_By_Faith_LogoSeicho-No-Ie (say-choh no ee-yay) means “The Home of Infinite Life, Wisdom, and Abundance.” It is nondenominational and is based on the belief that all religions emanate from One Universal Life (God). It is dedicated to spreading the Truth that man is a child of God; therefore, he is divine in nature and possesses all the attributes and creative powers of God. The message of Seicho-No-Ie is not new, yet it has the capacity to satisfy our deepest desire for something more out of life.

Origin of Seicho-No-Ie

Seicho-No-Ie was founded in Japan in 1930 by Rev. Masaharu Taniguchi (1893-1985). A fervent seeker of the Truth, Rev. Taniguchi dedicated many years of intensive study to different philosophies and religions until one day, while in deep meditation, he received the first of a series of divine inspirations that were to form the basis of what he called Humanity Enlightenment Movement.

After receiving these inspirations, Rev. Taniguchi began spreading the teachings to others. Many miraculous healing took place – people found health, harmony, and prosperity after listening to our reading his inspired teachings. For further information, visit the English site of Seicho-No-Ie International Head Quarters.

MEDITATION to visualize God

We can awaken to our true divinity through a method of prayerful meditation called Shinsokan (meditation to visualize God), which is taught at the various Truth of Life centers. As Jesus has said, “The kingdom of God is within you”, the practice of Shinsokan is a way to make the kingdom of God a living reality.
